Diana Schimmel Avena is a wife, mother and family law attorney living in North Brunswick. Originally a Philadelphia native, she comes to Central NJ looking to place roots in her new community. Diana grew up with the Jewish religion in her home and despite some time off from being active, she is now back involved with the community. Diana hopes to invigorate CBT for the new generation, including her daughter. Diana and her family are newer members of CBT, joining in 2021. But, they already feel like part of the family! Diana is joined by her husband Rocco (an engineer, amazing cook and unfortunate NY sports fan) and her young daughter Vivian. She is a partner at the family law firm of Martine, Katz Scanlon & Schimmel, P.A. In her free time (what even is free time?!) she enjoys wine, fashion and Bravo TV.
