All hametz – food not acceptable during Pesach (Passover), or materials containing such unacceptable food –should be destroyed or given away before the holiday begins. Should this be impossible, the hametz may be stored in such a way that we are sure not to use it during the holiday and its actual ownership is transferred to a non-Jew until the holiday ends.

For the purpose of this agreement, Hametz is considered to include, but not be limited to: leavened bread; cakes; biscuits; crackers; cereal; rice; dry peas and dry beans; and all liquids which contain ingredients or flavors made from grain alcohol. A mixture of Hametz is defined as any substance, edible or not, which contains or is joined to any Hametz in any quantity whatsoever.

All of the aforesaid Hametz will be sold in accordance with the requirements of Jewish law and is intended as a binding legal transaction.
