Jewish Women International (JWI) is a leading Jewish agency that is dedicated to the prevention of violence against women and girls. It is particularly important now because there has been a documented increase in domestic violence, sexual violence and violence against children during the stay at home orders throughout the country. JWI is an advocacy group that is a strong voice at the national and local level, working to create laws and policy that protect, women, girls and families.
Advocacy may sound challenging but it can be as simple as sending an email to your representatives, calling them to express your views, or talking with family, friends and neighbors about the importance of creating a world that prevents violence against women, girls and families and connects with our Jewish values.
