EIN GEDI-SUNDAY JULY 12.
Located near the Dead Sea and not far from Masada, The name Ein Gedi is composed of two Hebrew words: ein means spring and gdi means goat-kid. Ein Gedi thus means “Kid spring.”
“Aunt” Mirjam joined us for the day, we’re so fortunate to have you in our lives.
Dinner in Talpiot, a Jerusalem neighborhood, lots of locals and and a wonderful Israeli restaurant, Zion Hagadol. Our dinner of beef and chicken skewers, included 14 salads, side orders and soft delicious pita!
We’re having a great time, tomorrow will be our last day before traveling home.
We’ll spend the day in the old city, the Machaneh Yehuda market, pray at the Kotel and finish with the spectacular light show at the Tower of David.
We’ll be sad to leave and happy to return to our wonderful family and B’nai Tikvah community.
