Dear Friends,

Shanah Tovah. I hope that you and your family had a meaningful High Holiday season.

During my Yom Kippur address this year, I spoke about commitment. And my message this year was simple: our synagogue needs each of us.

I asked those attending services to consider increasing their commitment to our synagogue this year in one or more ways: by participating more often in services, programs and events; by becoming more involved as a volunteer or leader; and, if possible, by increasing their financial support.

Enclosed is your High Holiday pledge card. If you are able, I hope you will consider making a contribution this year—or increasing your contribution from last year. Participation at every level is meaningful and appreciated, and your support helps us meet the rising costs of maintaining our building, providing programs and services, and sustaining our congregation for the future.

You can return the pledge card and your payment in the envelope provided, or feel free to reach out to the synagogue office to make your donation payment via credit card or Zelle. While your dues provide an important portion of our budget, the Yom Kippur appeal helps provide another, very much needed, portion.

If you were unable to join us for the High Holidays—or would simply like to revisit them—I encourage you to visit our synagogue website, where you can view Rabbi Reed’s inspiring High Holiday sermons, as well as my Yom Kippur address.

Thank you for being part of our community, and for your continued support.
