Why Are We Changing Our Siddurim?
Our new Siddur Lev Shalem is a more accessible prayer book that offers additional explanations, expanded transliteration, and fresh perspectives on our traditional prayers. By deepening our engagement with prayer, we enrich ourselves as individuals and grow together as a sacred community.
Please join us on Wednesday at 7:30 PM for an evening of discovery as we meet and learn with Rabbi Rob Scheinberg, Ph.D., a scholar of Jewish liturgy who served on the editorial committees for prayer books for Conservative Judaism, including our new Siddur Lev Shalem. Rabbi Scheinberg teaches at JTS as well as at the Academy of Jewish Religion.
Following his presentation, please stay for a meet-and-greet with Rabbi Scheinberg. Refreshments will be served.
Siddurim will be available for purchase—for those who wish to dedicate a copy for use in our sanctuary, as well as for those who would like to purchase one for home use.
