Dinner to follow at 7:30 PM.\nThe Topics are as follows:\n Friday Dinner: Caring For versus Caring About the Enemy: Is There a Jewish Obligation to Care When We are Under Threat?\nSaturday Lunch: Models of Relationship between American Jews and Israel\nDr Sara Labaton is the Director of Teaching and Learning at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America since 2019. She received a doctorate in Jewish Thought from Skirball Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies at NYU. She has taught at Beit Rabban Day School\, the Frisch School\, Yeshivat Hadar\, and the Wexner Heritage Program. \nPlease RSVP by Friday\, October 30 at 12pm. The cost for the Friday dinner is $25 for members and $30 for non-members (see below to RSVP).\nSaturday’s luncheon is free.
