Kosher Meals on Wheels

This home delivered meal program provides up to two nutritionally well-balanced kosker meals per day to people whose physical, mental, or social conditions make it difficult for them to prepare adequate meals for themselves.

A trained social worker conducts an in-house assessment to determine eligibility for the program. Trained volunteers deliver the meals and identify frail elderly, who may need other services, and links them to those additional supports.

Residents of Southern Middlesex County are eligible to apply for this program who are:

  • 60 years or older
  • homebound
  • frail
  • recuperating
  • Handicapped or disabled

Maintaining a Kosher home is not a pre-requisite to receive these meals.

If you or someone you know would like to participate in this program, please contact the Jewish Family Service.
